Stephen Saslow has been passionate about automobiles his entire life. He worked in the automotive industry, selling mobile entertainment systems in vehicles. He has competed in IASCA auto sound competitions and is the driver for the number 09 open wheel Formula Vee racecar.
Stephen graduated from the International Race Drivers Club racing school in the season of 2005. He participated in the remaining three races of the year as a novice and graduated to an area driver shortly thereafter. Stephen spent the beginning of the 2006 race season as an area driver in order to maximize his opportunities on the track. Competing in both the novice and senior races allowed for him to fine tune his skills and grow his confidence. Mid-2006 Stephen received his International Road Racing License and finished the year strong, winning the Formula Vee class championship; an impressive feat for someone so new behind the wheel.
Future driving plans include participating in SCCA National events in 2008 Additionally, 2008 marks the first time TCR Motorsports will attempt to qualify for the National Championship Runoffs in October.
